Now it's time to upload your files. You will need "ftp client software" for this. FTP stands for "file transfer protocol". Most are very easy to use. Open the software and type in a username and password. The software will show you a split screen with your computer's hard drive on one side and your hosting server on the other. You create a folder on the server for your web site, open it, highlight all the files in the same folder on your hard drive, then drag-and-drop them into the new folder on the server. That's all there is to it!! Do a final run-through, testing all the links and graphics again, except now you are testing your site on the Internet. Correct any problems like you did before.
