consistent appearance. The easiest is to 'Save As' the page you just wrote, to the same folder but with the name of the page you want to start writing next. That is, say you just finished "index.htm" and saved it to your web site folder. Now with "index.htm" still open, click on 'Save As' (NOT 'Save') and type "page2.htm" as the filename. Now with "page2.htm" open in your software, replace the text with the content that should be on the "page2" page. Next add, delete or change the graphics as necessary. Then change the links so they are appropriate for the "page2" page. Finally, 'Save' (now you can use 'Save') the page to your web site folder one final time. |
