text or pictures in columns, require something more. This commonly involves the use of tables. FrontPage allows the use of tables and will write the code for you, as always. But at times you'll want to add or change the code to get a special alignment, so it's best to have some knowledge of tables yourself. When you insert a table, you'll be asked how many rows and columns you want. Make a pencil sketch of your layout first! That way you'll know, not only how many rows and columns, but where all your text and graphics will go in the table. FrontPage lets you specify spacing between cells, border widths, background colors, etc. You can have a certain cell span more than one row or column if you wish. |
