HEADDSSS Interview Drugs/EtOH Usage		It is normal for adolescents to experiment with substances like alcohol, marijuana and others. Still, you need to ask if they have had any experience with any drugs or alcohol. If so, quantify with what and how much? You also want to specifically ask, have you ever been arrested or gotten into trouble with the law? Many teens will not only answer yes, but be very descriptive about why. If you get a positive response to either of these questions, the next step is to ask the CRAFFT questions. Return to top of page
